Minecraft mod launcher

FuPLauncher

Every Minecraft mod, one search bar, zero broken installs.

FuPLauncher finds mods on Modrinth and CurseForge at once, refuses to install the ones that would break your game, and swaps your whole mods folder when you switch modpacks.

What it does

The parts of modding that should have been solved years ago.

One search, both stores

Modrinth and CurseForge queried together, merged into one list. Filter by version, loader, category, author or store. If one store is down you still get the other one's results, with a note saying what failed.

Installs that can't be wrong

Only files that declare support for your Minecraft version and your loader are installed. A Forge build is never quietly substituted for a Fabric one, and every file is checked against its published SHA-1 before it reaches your mods folder.

Profiles that actually swap

A profile owns its jars. Only the active one sits in the game's mods directory, so Minecraft never sees leftovers from another modpack. Duplicating a profile makes a real copy, not a shortcut.

Press Play, that's all

The launcher resolves the loader chain, builds the classpath, downloads what's missing and picks a Java runtime that matches the release, fetching it from Mojang if your machine doesn't have one. You never install Java.

It watches your setup

Wrong loader, wrong version, missing dependency, duplicate mod: flagged before you launch, not after. After a crash it reads the report, names the mods it points at, and offers to disable them in one click.

More frames, one click

A performance preset installs Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, EntityCulling, ImmediatelyFast and Dynamic FPS, keeping whichever ones have a real build for your profile. Resource packs and shaders install from Modrinth too.

Before you install

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. The installer lets you choose where it goes.
  • A Microsoft account that owns Minecraft. You sign in on Microsoft's own page, and the launcher never sees your password.
  • There is no offline username and no cracked mode. Every launch carries a live session.
  • The launcher updates itself in the background, so you never download it twice.
  • A free CurseForge API key is optional: without one, results come from Modrinth alone.

What it does not do

Stated up front, because finding out later is worse.

  • Some CurseForge authors block third-party downloads. FuPLauncher says so and sends you to the mod's page instead of working around it.
  • Compatibility is judged on declared data only. A mod that declares nothing is reported as unidentified, never guessed as compatible.
  • CurseForge update checks cost one request per mod, so large profiles take a moment.
  • Skins are not managed here.

Terms of use

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or running FuPLauncher (the "Software"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Software.

2. License

FuPLauncher is proprietary, closed-source software. Copyright © 2026, all rights reserved. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and run the Software for your own use. Nothing else is granted.

3. Restrictions

Without prior written permission, you may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish the installer, the application, or any file extracted from it.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code.
  • Modify the Software, or distribute a modified or repackaged build of it.
  • Present the Software, or a copy of it, as your own work.

4. Minecraft account

Playing requires a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft. Sign-in happens in your own browser, on Microsoft's page: the Software never receives your password, and your session tokens stay on your machine. The Software provides no offline or cracked mode and must not be used to play a copy of Minecraft you do not own. FuPLauncher is an unofficial project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Mojang, Microsoft, Modrinth or CurseForge. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB.

5. Third-party mods and content

Mods, resource packs and shader packs are downloaded from Modrinth and CurseForge and remain the property of their authors, under their own licenses. FuPLauncher only fetches what those platforms publish, and respects author decisions such as blocked third-party downloads. We are not responsible for third-party content, nor for what it does to your game or your saves.

6. Updates

The Software checks for a new version each time it starts and installs updates on its own. By using it, you accept that it may replace itself with a newer build, which may add, change or remove features.

7. Your files

The Software moves, installs and deletes files inside the Minecraft directories and profiles you point it at. Back up worlds and configurations you care about. You remain responsible for the game installations you manage with it.

8. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. There is no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every mod, modpack or Minecraft version.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders are not liable for any claim, damage, data loss or other liability arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Software.

10. Changes and termination

These terms may change without prior notice; the version published on this page applies. Your license ends automatically if you breach any of these terms, and you must then uninstall the Software.
